What do you love about your job?

I love medical cases when we fight for injured workers to get the treatment they deserve. I’m a science geek (there are photos on my office wall of me with astronauts) so I enjoy delving into medical literature. Plus going toe to toe with an employer hired doctor on medical science requires me to be at the top of my game, and nothing makes truly disabled people happier than seeing the IME doctors who misrepresented their condition finally exposed.

How do you leverage technology to benefit clients?

For me, technology is about two things; making it easier for the people I represent to communicate with me and helping me work better and faster. Working hand in hand with my people is important so I want it to be as easy as possible for them to communicate with me. Whether you call, text, email, or just stop by the office, it’s my goal to respond back to you the same day.

Is winning important?

I certainly prefer to win, but at the end of the day my ego is irrelevant. What matters is that the people who trust me to take care of their claim get the result they are entitled. I tell everyone who comes into my office that my job is to help them achieve their goals. Sometimes that means we take the case all the way through litigation, and other times it means we resolve cases quickly to help the disabled get back to work and back to supporting their families.

Meet the rest of our team.
