Jodi Crouch about her husband Aaron;
When Jodi Crouch reflects on her husband Aaron, she sees a man who devoted 32 years of his life to helping others. Aaron was a 911 dispatcher—a “big teddy bear” who calmly guided people through their darkest moments, often life-and-death situations. But over time, the job took a toll on him. After countless calls that left lasting scars, one incident—a baby’s life slipping away despite his CPR instructions—marked him deeply. Eventually, Aaron needed help himself, but asking for it didn’t come naturally. He had always been the one helping others. And now, after 32 years of service, he needed help.
Jodi encouraged Aaron to reach out to Palace Law after they heard about the firm through a friend. She knew he needed someone who truly understood what it was like to be a public servant and to carry the weight of those hard days. After 32 years of service, they expected support, but instead, Aaron and Jodi found themselves up against an intimidating system. Each letter from L&I brought a new wave of fear and uncertainty. Sometimes even what could be considered downright bullying.
Jordan, their attorney from Palace Law, was, as Jodi describes, “a godsend.” With his calm, compassionate approach, he gave Aaron the validation he deserved. For Jodi, Palace Law was different. She remembers how, when Aaron passed away, Jordan was immediately silent on the phone, giving her a moment to share her grief. “It wasn’t just a job to him,” she recalls. “He told me, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll take care of everything,’ and that was what I needed to hear.” Jordan’s words allowed her to grieve without the added burden of battling through a bureaucratic system that seemed to have forgotten Aaron’s service.
When Jodi tells people about her experience with Palace Law, she describes them with one word: real. “They showed us true compassion,” she says. “They treated us like friends and told us what we needed to hear, even if it was tough.” In her view, Palace Law was more than a law firm—they were a community. For Jodi, their support felt genuine, a bridge of empathy and resilience that she wants everyone going through a similar struggle to find.
In honoring Aaron’s memory, Jodi shares their story to encourage others: “Stick up for yourself and find someone who will stand beside you. If it’s happening to you, it’s happening to someone else too.”
Thank you Patrick of Palace Law
My Husband Mel was injured on the job back in January 2012 ti is now 2024. He hurt his knee real badly at work and kept working all day to get the people to dialysis. That day when a huge snow storm closed everything down. The L&I people wanted to give Mel a few thousand dollars and call it done. In came the big guns or Marshall Dillon from Gun Smoke to fight off the bad guys L&l. PALACE LAW!
For almost 13 years Palace Law fought for Mel to get what he deserved from L&I.
We went through a number of Lawyers as they moved on but one person that stayed with us through the whole thing was Emily. She is the best! As we closed out our file with her and Patrick today I started to cry as I felt like I was losing a very close personal friend. That is how everyone at Palace law made myself and Mel feel.
Palace Law went to many court trials for Mel. The lawyer on the other side would try and intimidate myself and Mel on the stand. Palace Lawyers was there to step in and help stop the intimidation.
Through the years Mel was threaten by Doctors for L&I that L&l made Mel go to. Every time those L&IDoctors tried to say nothing was wrong with Mel, and send him back to work! Palace Law (Marshall Dillion) was right there to tell them to back off side winders. Palace Law got other Doctors to test Mel and said Mel was disabled from the injury on his leg. These Doctors had nothing to do with Palace Law or L&l.
L&I took secret picture of Mel during his normal daily routines, they kept trying to say Mel was ok. Palace Law would step in and let them know the picture they took had nothing to do with his knee. Palace Law set those ornery galoots (L&l) running for cover.
Some times Mel thought of throwing in the towel because of all the abuse L&I was giving him. Palace Law was right there to say no, they would explain what the next step was going to be. After listening to Palace Law Mel would once again decided to fight for his rights.
When at the L&I Doctors they would try and turn everything Mel said around and trick him. Iwould step in and stop them as Mel is very hard of hearing, they knew that and was trying to use ti for their advantage.
Once again Palace Law stepped in and sent the Robber Doctors on their way with a big kick to their bottoms. Mel and Ihave no idea what we would have done without Palace Law these 13 years. Palace Law kept Mel's every two week pay checks coming in all those years.
If you ever need a Lawyer, Palace Law is the place to go to or call. They wil treat you like a family member and help you till the very end of the trial and tribulations you will have to go through.
Palace Law (Marshall Dillion) will stand up against any big gun slinger and take wil them down. And they win for YOU!
